What do you need to know about JavaScript and PHP in an interview for an html coder?

I am looking for a job in the office for the position of html coder. Experience - 1.5 years in freelancing and private orders. The main profile of work is layout layouts from psd and development from scratch. I use html, css and jQuery for interactive pages. I use PHP minimally, for stretching on CMS Wordpress. Pure JavaScript didn't have to be used at all, since everyone is content with jQuery.
In vacancies often there are requirements and wishes "knowledge of JavaScript and PHP". What is the best way to present your knowledge if you are still a coder, not a programmer, and you didn’t have to write your CMS in PHP or a library in JS. I repeat: at a basic level, I own both.

In my experience, a basic level of PHP - knowledge of syntax - is sufficient in most cases.
But you should know pure JS. But then again, if we are talking about a device in some non-core organization (some kind of online store), then there will also be enough knowledge of the syntax. But more specialized organizations may not be accepted without a sufficient understanding of native JS.

A layout designer is the initial stage of a designer or front-end programmer.
You don't need to know PHP. Must have experience with templates.

On the toaster What is the difference between a coder and a front-end developer?
