I installed a hyper-v server on the host, where can I get windows for virtual machines? Use normal windows server? How much do they cost?

Each win server std under license allows you to run 2 virtual machines with this license inside via hyper-v, emnip. Licenses can be stacked on one piece of hardware, each license will give +2 virtual machines.
