The situation is this - the company produces equipment, which in its essence is a computer. It is assumed that Windows 7 is installed on board. Judging by what is on store shelves, the Windows 7 Initial edition is distributed in some other way.

I would like to shed some light on this area. I understand that OEM versions are purchased in other ways?

Win 7 for ordinary PCs is not particularly suitable. Most likely a ready-made version of Microsoft Windows Embedded is needed . Choose what suits you best for your application.

Considering that the sellers of Microsoft software themselves sometimes do not understand how a particular product is licensed under certain conditions, I recommend writing to the head Russian representative office. After all, they are interested in selling software :)
