Where to get a team or a partner for a startup?

A successful project requires a team.
But how to form it?

No, seriously, there are not so many IT people in my environment, those that are are busy with their work.
I work as a freelancer - contacts with other IT are minimal.

And now I'm writing a project. and not enough hands. And in general, developing together is somehow more interesting. And yet, where to get people who also want to write something of their own? Sites not found

Naturally, the sites were not found. For startups, they usually look for like-minded people among acquaintances. How can you find a person through the site and start doing something quite responsible with him. You don’t know him at all - how he lives, how motivated he is, whether he has enough free time at all. Maybe he will score on the project in a couple of weeks. Nobody pays for this, and it's hard to find motivated and reliable people.

As an option, you can walk around universities and look at the defense of diplomas of graduates. You will be able to look at people and at least somehow, roughly assess their abilities and knowledge. Maybe look at someone there.

In my opinion, this is a very difficult task. Perhaps even too difficult to attempt anything. If you didn't know the person before, you can't trust him. Trust is developed through human interaction, and the more the better. Two days, a week is not enough. Even if you have known each other for a long time, conflicts happen, I misunderstand. And if a person comes from outside, he will think that you want to throw a routine at him, that you just want to use him as a free slave. This leads to problems with motivation, who wants to completely surrender to a project without any guarantees? Another problem is ambition, no one wants to be number two in someone else's project, so most likely your partner will start pulling the blanket over himself, and this is fertile ground for conflicts. There are good-natured non-conflict people, who seem to be devoid of ambition, I don’t know how well they suit the project, but try to find them, at first everyone smiles sweetly. If the project is 100% successful (as a business), it is better to find money somewhere or quickly make a basic version and earn at least something, then hire people. If this is something like a social network for dogs or the prospects are unclear, you need to look for other options, here every second person with such a project and longs for someone to help him realize his dream.
