I have a similar situation as here Has anyone received higher education in IT in absentia and externally? , I work as a programmer in Moscow, I want to go to the USA or Canada, by education at the moment I have a college diploma in the specialty "computer engineering" completed in 2014.
A university degree is required to apply for a work visa.

For a work visa, you need a lot of things, and the crust may not be enough.
They can refuse a visa just like that, even if there are letters of recommendation.
