When is Adobe After Effects redundant?
In the evenings I study the basics of motion graphics and started with Adobe After Effects. Prior to that, I used only Photoshop from Adobe.
Since I don’t know this program very well, the question arises, when can After Effects be replaced with a simple editing program? What functionality from the list of After Effects features does not have the same, well, Premiere or DaVinci for example?

The answer lies in the question itself. If you only need editing, then AE will not help you in any way, if you need simple stakes, dice, then you can do it in the same editing program or buy ready-made templates and import them into the same premiere.
