Portfolio, video preview of the site layout, how it works...?

Guys, I have grown to the point that the essence of the layout is not in what is drawn, but in how it works. I came to the conclusion that you need to show the layout video in the portfolio.
Everything is complicated by the fact that you have your own layout in layers (not laid out, but laid out and that’s what the hell knows how) and you want to put it in your portfolio, the way you saw it (I always write a lot of text / commentary to the customer how it should be and how it should be typed with examples), then how it will work is both the interface and button clicks.
That is, you need to sit and seriously confuse yourself with adobe after effect (there are skills, but it will be a titanic work)? How to simplify the process? Is there something ready? Is there any material on this topic at all?
The same simple actions to replace the hovered mouse with a finger on the button will already take a lot of time. Ie all the same, if you want to pack beautifully, then suffer?

Probably only by hand in a video editor.
I will say even more, I make both prepared and finished products (SaaS) by hand in a video editor. Only in this way can quality be done.
Yes, it’s long and expensive, but I can’t even look at the result differently.

Take pieces of the layout, exactly where there is some action, and make gifs out of them right in Photoshop (if you work in it, you can export it for simplicity).
If the layout is heavily gradient and colorful, you can reduce the animation by half, the understanding will not worsen because of this, but it will look nicer.
