What to choose Red or DaVinci?

If you are familiar with these products, help to make a choice. Thank you.
Red Giant - as I understand it, this is a set of plugins. And accordingly, it will go in conjunction with adobe. I did not find much information, except for the office. site where you have to kill an hour to figure it out.
DaVinci is already a full-fledged program from BM for correction and processing.
I don't know much about it, because I have a BMPC camera))
If you choose the red plugins, they will make it easier to correct in the primer, etc.
And if davinci? I don’t know the program, and it turns out that the editor wins, I just have to figure out the plugin. And davinci to study from the very beginning? Sorry for the mess, I just don't really know and I'm trying to find an answer.
Someone wrote that you can simply process one frame in Photoshop and already merge the profile, and then the little things, like working with a mask and 3d / 2.5d.
There is no difference in terms of money + they give a free trial, are loyal to students, etc.
Of course, it’s not difficult to figure it out, but it will take some time + and so mess in my head ...

It is better to do a full-fledged colorizer, of course, in a resolution - it understands and encodes the "raw material" filmed on the BM without any problems, and it is much more convenient to work with this very "raw material". You color in Resolva and then you go to mount it in Premier.
In theory, in Resolve you can wind up and save LUTs and pick them up with the same magic bullet in Premiere, but in fact - you need to figure it out. Today, just "for speed" they tried to pick up such a LUT, but something went wrong and something went wrong. Due to lack of time, they simply scored and did the right thing in Resolva. True, that video was from another camera and not in raw.
In general, if you strive for "sky-high heights", it's definitely better to spend some time mastering Rezolva, magic bullet has too few opportunities compared to it (except for some little things, so it's still better to master a little and him).
Well, do not forget that if you are mainly interested in compressed video, there is not much point in using bm, any decent modern camera will somehow cope with this for the same money.
