Project management

What to use now for project management, development process control and time tracking?

What is currently available from project management and time management software for personal use or a small team of a couple of people?
I would like to understand where and how time is spent, to understand what projects and how much time was spent.
I would also like to distribute tasks well, or even though they are easy to maintain and control execution, it is possible with a breakdown into subtasks, a checklist.
Cross-platform software required.
What is free? What options?

Bitrix24 does an excellent job at the lower tariff. there is not expensive for the "company"

If there is no money for trackers like RedMine and JIRA, or too lazy to use broken ones, then there are free solutions.
Trello - not suitable for long-lived projects. Not bad for a standard development company. It has a bunch of modules with which it can be wrapped.
Taiga is a very good development tool. Has the ability to work with Agile and Kanban boards. In terms of functionality, it is almost identical to the base jira (for this I'm not 100% sure)
