What to read to the manager of a web-company who has no experience in programming?

It so happened that the boss does not understand anything in my work (web backend). Advise some, preferably light reading, so that he has an understanding of what I am doing in general. You don't need something low-level, but on top.

I would advise you to explain in the simplest language what sites are, how they work (at the level here is the server, here is the visitor's computer, he sends a request - the server answers with clever words - the client's browser draws a picture) and at the same level the main stages / processes of developing https ://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%92%D0%B5%D0%B1-%... but you can simplify it to suit your realities. You can additionally attract personalities to this - who does what, for what he is responsible at what stage.
You can meet within 5-7 minutes, as it seems to me :)
Something deeper is meaningless and most likely not needed.
PS In general, in order to manage all the same, you need to understand the processes that take place.
What does this manager do, what exactly controls, how many people are subordinate?
