Upwork

What to do if the client does not pay for upwork?

The first time I got an inadequate client, he does not want to pay. Well, the amount is very small. How can I get rid of this client now so as not to spoil my rating? As I understand it, job success will decrease, how to avoid this? All correspondence through upwork, in general, it is clear there that the client is wrong and that I offered several options. Now he hasn't responded for 2 days now.

I had a similar experience with an inadequate client.
The project was less than $100, but the client constantly increased the original task. I was about to quit the project without getting paid (although I did the original assignment), but the client kept blackmailing me with a bad review. I sent screenshots of the correspondence and my account details to oDesk support and they resolved the issue.

Contact support, especially if the correspondence was not on the side and it shows the client was wrong. If the client also threatens with something, then he will definitely be given out for this, clearly not candy with a wish to continue in the same spirit.

Hello, there is only one solution, try to agree politely.

Upwork seems to have written somewhere when I was still in Odessa that the opal is not guaranteed in any way if it is not an hourly work, so it is doubtful that contacting the support will give something. Is it possible to "appease" the client? Does he want something weird?

If hourly, then everything will be paid automatically, if fixed, then a complaint to the support.
