I'm slowly bombing the UPWORK freelance exchange. In order not to waste "connections" for nothing, I answer only fresh vacancies. For this I subscribed to the RSS feed. And as soon as a new vacancy appears, I run to the site. And I see that the vacancy was created 3-5-10 and sometimes even an hour ago. And of course there are already 50 answers from indocoders in it.
I pull RSS every minute. Observed the same trend and if you update the page with a list of vacancies. It seems that it just appeared for me, but it has already existed for 10 minutes ....
What is the reason? Why do "Indian friends" see the vacancy before me?

a vacancy in rss appears with a delay of either 5 or 10 minutes, as in api, on the site immediately.
Your delay is most likely due to the fact that you rarely poll the rss feed, poll once a minute.
