What takes up disk space?

There is a D drive, there are a couple of folders of about 2GB, but it says that about 10GB is occupied, hidden folders are shown, there is nothing else there that can take up extra space?

Drive the desired disk with the WinDirStat program, it will show with a tree what you have and where it is, how much space it takes.

The Sequoia program can visualize the idea of the space occupied on the disk by one or another software . In her view, my D drive looks like this:

The program is quite old (2002), but on my W10, as you can see, it works fine. Perhaps the idea of such a representation has not disappeared, and this program may have analogues.
