What parameter in the phone is responsible for the quality of the GPS receiver?

In general, what in the characteristics of a mobile phone is responsible for the quality of GPS communication? I just wrote a small mobile application where I determine my coordinates, and so for the whole day, I managed to determine them only 1 time)) I already took out the phone to the balcony and walked on the street with the phone and nothing. I want to buy a phone with a cool receiver. but everywhere in the shops it is written that there is a GPS in the phone, and which one is not written.

Trying to determine your GPS position by turning it on in a building is a futile undertaking in the case of a microscopic telephone antenna. Satellite reception in phones can be poor and terrible.

On the street you have to walk for 10-15 minutes, if the clock on the phone does not work accurately and the GPS has not been used for several days. I recommend looking at how fast GPS is detected in other programs, such as GPS Test from Chartcross Limited on Android. If the GPS was used a few hours ago, then the satellites are located quickly. If the GPS has not been used for several days, then the search takes about 15 minutes.
