What opensource solutions for server mail (imap and smtp) exist besides devcot + postfix?

Are there postfix + devcot alternatives that are easy and quick to install out of the box?
You need mail on the server (for the domain), mail server software with imap and smtp protocols in order to connect to them through mail clients like thunderbird or through a web interface like rainloop.
I tried this instruction , but I didn't receive emails, despite the correct dns (in my opinion), I couldn't connect using thunderbird (although the ports on the server are forwarded, they are allowed in the firewall, nmap sees them as open).
Maybe there are other instructions somewhere?
Most likely I did something wrong somewhere (although I checked and reviewed everything), so I'm asking about something simpler. I understand that this sounds silly, but I just need the mail to go and work, there is no time or task to delve deeply into all this.

Yes, you will understand first what exactly does not work.
In principle, I didn’t set up anything simpler than postfix and exim.
If there is no connection, check dns (nslookup), check netstat on the server, and besides, forwarding is needed on the firewall, the server needs ACCEPT from iptables, if such a filter is installed.

iredmail - ready assembly. Install, register domains, work.

Your choice is not bad at all. Perhaps dovecot + exim would be better, but in terms of setup, it's about the same. Enable logging on the server and client and fix configuration errors.
There are plenty of instructions on the Internet, search.

The concept of "sparkle" is a marketing concept, it comes from the world of paid products (where there are boxes). And it means exactly what it means - bought, installed, working, there are settings, references, tips, crap ... ALL of this costs money Suddenly? Developing a GUI, testing a product in all imaginable and unimaginable combinations, writing help and tips, translating them into 256 languages, including Black-Oruguy and Elvish - all this costs money :D And it does not directly affect the functionality of the product, so direct development is usually such garbage and they are not interested - they are more interested in fixing bugs, adding new features.
It is impossible to set up mail yourself without understanding how it works. Therefore, you have two options - either find a paid solution (which may do some of the work itself and even tell you where you screwed up), or figure it out and configure it yourself.
Dovecot has a lot of features, but many of them are simply not needed, otherwise it is quite simple to set up. I won’t say anything about postfix, I have sendmail (I had to deal with postfix a couple of times - it didn’t seem difficult)
Ask specific questions with specific input data - they are more readily answered than this one. Writing an instruction, if so, is also a job and a very sickly one - because you need to re-simulate the described situation again, and even make screenshots, and even make it clear. And it also costs money.
