HDMI + TV, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work. What could be the reason?
HDMI works very strangely.
Scenario 1) Turn on the TV, Turn on the PC - everything works.
Scenario 2) Turn on the TV, Turn on the PC - Turn off the TV, Turn on - everything, TV - the signal no longer sees, and then it writes no signal, then an unsupported video format.
And this is not how the system behaves on different ports "not constantly" HDMI, ie. today HDMI port 1 is buggy, tomorrow it works fine, but HDMI 4 is buggy.
At the same time - I tried another PC - it is normally friends with all HDMI ports - there are no problems, with the same cables, etc.
I tried different OSes Windows 7, Debian 7, Ubuntu 14.04 - from the OS \ installed drivers - it seems the situation does not depend.
Moreover, if you make a reboot on the PC, then HDMI does not return, and if you turn it off, wait a couple of seconds, turn it on, then the HDMI signal goes on.
Of all the OS, I found only info in Debian - a lot of records with
HDMI status syslog: Codec=0 Pin=3 Presence_Detect=1 ELD_Valid=1
I.e. They try to connect, but something happens? What? What does he lack?
Could this be due to lack of nutrition?
Ps The PC is an HP N54L server with a Sapphire HD 6450 video card installed in the PCI-E.
This configuration works for "others" with a bang.
"Another PC" is an i7 desktop with Windows.

1st possible cause, video card malfunction. There were cases when, with external serviceability, it works in all applications, but when an additional monitor (TV) is connected, normal operation stops. You can check it on a known good video card.
2nd possible reason, lack of nutrition. Check operation with a more powerful PC PSU.
3rd possible reason, if a cable TV antenna cable is connected to the TV, then there may be extraneous voltage on the "common" wire of this cable. There was a similar case, TV was not detected until the cable TV cable was disconnected.
I will continue the answer ...
4th - not a high-quality HDMI cable. What is the length of the cable? Are there any sources of interference near it? Are there ferrite rings on the cable? (I had a similar case, I diagnosed it by connecting a short high-quality cable, in which such symptoms disappeared)
