How to record tutoring?
One person teaches another to program. They skype, open screens for each other, but would like to record it all for the public to get something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj9qAUXb5vg
Which platform is better to use? Because I don't like the quality of sound and video in Skype.

Some driver does not want to work. Perhaps the processor frequency scaler or ACPI. There is even a special key for installation so that the kernel does not touch acpi.
The driver most likely has nothing to do with it. I would like to know what motherboard you have. with normal boot or EFI/UEFI. I also note that on the Ubuntu website there are 2 options for images - ISO - for normal boot and ISO - for EFI / UEFI - boot (I don’t know about MINT). Also in addition - why MINT and Ubuntu? As an option, you can try for example: ROSA DFR-10, Mageia-6 (branch - RED HAT with "rpm" batch installer). Also, try lightweight distributions with XFCE, LXDE, LXQt, E-17-19, JWM, Openbox, Blackbox desktops. And do not forget about the architecture - you definitely have x86_64.
It may also be worth checking the disk, if it hangs during installation, then maybe the system is trying to write to bad sectors of the disk, but Windows does not touch them, that's normal
Use recent ubuntu 18.10, i5 7th gen helped. One nuance turns off that livecd, which is installed for a long time and with errors. Prior to this, the loader ruled and rebuilt the image, it also worked, I guessed when I looked at the logs from the hung system.
Probable causes have been discussed above.
Two monitors? If so, try disabling the one you don't need. It costs Kubuntu - there was such a problem, after turning off the second monitor it disappeared.
Try google hangouts! great for teaching and the lesson is immediately recorded on the youtube channel. I think it's a good option
The one who explains - opens the screen and records on video, the other just observes.
In fact, you can use TeamViewer.
