What is the voltage in the usb-c ports?

Hello. A friend scared me that if the voltage of all connected devices to the USB hub exceeds the voltage in the port, then the port may burn out.

Two questions: is it so? (I’m fumbling and sorry in advance if I crookedly conveyed the thought-question) And where can I find out the port voltage on Macbook 16, so as not to connect too much? ..

the port will not give more than it can. burn will not burn, but devices may not work.
so many hubs come with their own power supply. especially if you still want to charge the beech through this port.
