A couple of questions about games on Macbook Pro 2015?
Hello everyone
I am the proud owner of this laptop. I mostly work on it and watch movies, but sometimes I play Hearthstone. The game is simple, it does not eat a lot of resources, but it stokes a laptop up to 80 degrees and 5000 rpm. Phpstorm + Photoshop + Music + 2 browsers + Something else warms up to a maximum of 70 and 3000 rpm, in this regard, I have doubts about games on macbooks, but still I decided to ask:
1) How harmful is it for a laptop? Why does it heat up to such temperatures and coolers spin like that?
2) As I understand it, if you want to play - you put PlayOnMac. Does anyone have experience playing games with this utility? How is the performance? I am a fan of Max Payne games, and I was thinking of replaying the trilogy, but since a game with such requirements https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/hearthsto...so loads the computer, is it worth it?
thanks for answers

Put yourself a software https://www.eidac.de It will not be superfluous.
Before starting games, I turn on the speed to the maximum. At home I also have a stand for a laptop with a cooler.
I have Steam and MaxPayne III, I went through the same laptop.
But there is still a negative impact from overheating - the discrete vidyaha began to glitch. For example, XCom was the first to crash on a discrete one, but it works stably on an integrated one.
Well, in Elite Dangerous I play on the built-in.
1) How bad is it for a laptop? Why does it heat up to such temperatures and coolers spin like that? Not harmful. A working laptop will not allow the temperature to rise above a certain level. However, at the border of this maximum level, performance will drop significantly.
2) As I understand it, if you want to play - you put PlayOnMac.Windows in a dual boot, or a separate gaming device.
