What is the difference between guest and standard user?

For example . I'll tell you.
There is a user account and a guest account.
Well, here it is:
"The guest cannot change his password by default, but the user can."
So I need "the guest cannot ... but the user can"
The most important and noticeable thing I need.

The Windows guest is a poor attempt to catch up with Linux as a delimitation of rights
. In which it is already ready to eat from the shaggy ones.
in fact, guest rights apply to the /home/%{User} folder
for Windows, this is true for your desktop account, and so on. everything outside the user's folder is not your property and these files are read-only.
But since Windows did not initially understand such a sense of humor, it cannot forbid the user to write to c:\, you simply will not understand this humor. Therefore, I had to restrict writing exclusively to the system directories for Windows.
Since the system of rights in Windows is made in the form of a GUI, and it is unlikely that even a professional Windows administrator will be able to qualitatively bring them into one chart on paper, and such questions arise.
windows mast give ;)

The guest is a temporary account, the exit field, everything he did, is deleted.
Each guest entry = new temporary account.

The Guest account is intended for users who do not have a permanent account on a computer or domain. It allows you to use your computer without access to your personal files. Users logged in with a Guest account cannot install software and hardware, change settings, or create a password.
