What is SIP Callback Technology?
Good afternoon,
Lately I often meet offers on the market from SIP providers about callback technology (I'm interested in what is called an instant callback when a client leaves his application on the site and at the same moment he is called back by a robot that connects with the manager) After 3-4 hours of searching about how it's done in production, I gave up because I didn't find anything. Theoretically, as I understand it, there is a third server that can create a conference using api and somehow invite a client who left his phone there.
Has anyone experienced this from the inside?

Well, it's that simple. I'll tell you more, if you wish, you can talk to the manager directly from the browser. And so the client leaves his number, while working out some kind of script that somehow forces the same Asterisk to do Dial(SIP/<external extension>/<your number>), after that you can put any information on the line (the same robot), and then let's say we do Goto to another extension, where Dial is performed to the manager's internal number or even Queue.
I haven't done it myself, but that's how it looks to me.
