What is better IPS vs MVA?
I decided to throw this post after buying a new monitor, as there was a problem. I have an AOC I2481FXH and had an old SyncMaster 940n as a secondary monitor until it burned out. So everything suited me, my eyes did not get tired, I could even sit at these monitors for days. To replace the burnt one, I decided to put a new monitor, the choice fell on AOC 24g2u (75 Hz) with an IPS matrix, at the time of purchase 11,600 rubles. Liked the design and price. But after half an hour of working on this monitor, my eyes literally turn inside out, it burns, my head hurts, I can’t concentrate at all, it’s some kind of nightmare. I wrote to the support of the official AOC store, the seller replied that many people have such a problem with IPS backlighting, but not all of them, and that he himself switched to a VA matrix and now everything is fine. Share your experience plz the new monitor is definitely to be sold, but here's how to choose now, I think it might really be worth trying the VA matrix. And by the way, on the new AOC 24g2u, it doesn’t give out full 75 Hz, it shows 74.497 something, I don’t remember exactly, maybe this is the problem? I tried to drive hertz to at least 76 through the nvidia settings, I get a black screen :)

Brightness!
You need to decrease the brightness. By default, all monitors have either maximum or close brightness, while usually 20% is enough. And then look at other settings, if again you are not satisfied.
The second is lighting. There is a good chance that indoor LED lighting and lamps flicker, and this flicker and backlight flicker may overlap or overlap.
