SmartTV is better than a monitor. To begin with, this is a separate device, if you connect wifi / ethernet to it, you can watch YouTube and all sorts of fs.to from it without a computer at all. You can also use a flash drive.

Compared to monitors, TVs almost always have higher brightness and contrast ratios, which is always critical when viewed from a distance of more than a meter. Smarttv is bullshit. Total: just a TV with an Android whistle.
