What is a dvi-m cable?

We need a DVI-D digital cable, we only have DVI-M in our store, can someone explain what type of cable it is, since there is something in the search engines for DVI-M

Compare your cables with the photo. Maybe they made a mistake when describing it in the store

Sometimes M stands for male connector.
Model and markings of what you have can you specify?

The most popular are DVI-I and DVI-D, the difference between them is that DVI-I has additional contacts for an analog signal, it can be used with VGA adapters, DVI-D is purely digital. You cannot plug DVI-I into the DVI-D connector.

She already bought it, it seems to be digital according to the contacts
