At first I connected the 144 hz monitor via hdmi, everything worked fine, but the hertz was not set above 120.
It turns out that the laptop had a displayport mini connector and I decided to connect it through it. I couldn’t find a solid dp-dp mini cable in stores, so I bought a dp adapter - dp mini 144hz were exposed, but at first the sound was distorted, reconnecting it fixed it, but the image twitches. I reconnected several times, the frequency of twitches changes, sometimes it stops completely in the browser, but it continues to twitch in games. Sometimes in games the image completely disappears for a few seconds.
What could be the problem ? I connect as neatly as possible without bends. dp from the box with the monik. The adapter is only 15 cm long, can there be a problem in it? I really don’t want to wait a month for a new cable from Ali, because I found only one cable in stores, and there was a video on YouTube that a similar cable also caused such problems.
