What hardware to take for basic file 1C?

There is a file base 1C Accounting. 1 user and that's it. For historical reasons, it spins on some kind of iMac with Windows in the bootcamp and it feels like it regularly slows down. When entering documents, preparing reports, just at startup. Updating the configuration for 40-50 minutes is a normal story. I don’t know, or the system is clogged with something incomprehensible, or the hardware is so specific, it won’t work to get that computer for a couple of days for experiments.
The accountant has often been on the road lately, so the question arose of buying a laptop and transferring the database to it.
There is a wish to pick up something such on what 1C will work faster. Better yet, much faster. And here I am a little confused. There would be a client-server, SQL and so on, it would be clear. But here is a single-user file option.
What parameters and hardware should be paid attention to in this case? What is better to choose?
If anything - platform 8.3, Accounting 3.0, we regularly update everything to the latest releases.
UPD: The base is about 3GB. iMac Late 2009. That is, Core 2 Duo 3GHz and 4GB of memory.

1. It would be possible to indicate the model of your aimag in order to understand what kind of car it is now.
2. It would be possible to specify the size of the database in order to understand how everything is running.
99% for the fact that the aimak is simply ancient, and ANY modern office computer will work much faster. For one user, even an average laptop for 600-700 bucks should normally pull single-user 1C.

In the release of the platform, right before the new year, they added support for macos for testing. If you wish, you can put it for testing and look at the performance gain compared to Windows virtualization.
Here is a snippet from the documentation:

A client application is available that runs under OS X 10.8 and later (only in the 64-bit version of the application). Supported:
  • Work of thin client, thick client and configurator.
  • File and client-server mode of operation.
