OpenCart 2.2, Should I start at all? How are things with 1C?

The task is to raise the site. There is 1C 8.2, Integrated automation.
How good is OpenCart 2.2 in general? They say that his code has been greatly reworked for the better. Is this a true statement?
In the default installation, I like its responsiveness, and inciting all sorts of tests on it, it shows good results, in comparison with the default presta, for example. It is clear that there is more functionality out of the box in prest, so the comparison may not be correct.
Is it worth it to raise an online store on OpenCart 2.2 if there is 1C 8.2: Integrated Automation? From which you will need to synchronize 5000 goods with the IM. I did not find a fresh module, by the way, for 1C, which seems strange to me.
Or still prestashop or magento? It would be desirable to manage cheaply, cheerfully and that the correct code.

As far as I know now, modules for OpenCart 2.2 are a bit tight.
Magenta is not easy to maintain and expensive. If you need some kind of module and if you did not find it in the public, get ready to fork out. If something is not standard money then give a lot. On the 2nd version of the modules, it is also very small, it is still raw.
Prestashop, I don’t know, well, it’s also a little expensive compared to OpenKart.
There is also Wookomers, where you can make a standard store without problems, but if you step right to left, also pay.
I would opt for Opencart or Vukomers. For 5,000 products, these platforms should be enough. Write a list of what you need and search the Internet for modules and plugins for these platforms. Compare. Usually they do what they know. If you have a dilemma, do so. Both systems have integration with 1s, but it needs to be tested.

Why do you need the correct code? You need to complete a business task. If the engine copes with the task and there are specialists on the market, then do it. What is the problem?

Sincere advice to you, do not do what you do not know well. And if you decide to do everything on a new stack for yourself, then entrust this business to professionals at the initial stages. You need a quick start. How many online stores have not left the testing stage.
