Yes. It's true. Better to see a doctor first. At one time I suffered from lower back pain, I could not stand even for 5 minutes. The cause was muscle dystrophy and a slight skew to the right (scoliosis). Passed for 2 months a course of manual therapy, physiotherapy and massage. Now I just keep fit in the gym (without fanaticism). I have had no back problems for 5 years now.
