Monitor "for eyes" and/or goggles?
Greetings.
Here I ran into a “problem” - on duty I spend about 16 hours at the monitor (at work - at one (but there with interruptions, it’s not so scary ... as a result, I don’t feel discomfort at work), but at home in the evening / night I feel I ’m
thinking about buying a new monitor (23 inches or more), but now I’m left with a choice - which one, what technology / matrix? (order or for yourself). And, most importantly , so that your eyes do not get tired (as far as possible).
And the second sub-question is whether it is worth buying eye protection glasses if the monitor is LCD. And if so, what kind?
PS The budget for the monitor is 300 c.u. (± 75 c.u.).

After reading articles about GUNNAR.
I ordered myself too.
On duty (system administrator) and for fun, I spend from 9 am to
10 pm. Before buying glasses, I could no longer sit at a computer or watch a movie for more than 10 pm - my eyes were watery, my head hurt.
With the use of glasses, I can now sit at least until 24-00.
Head and eyes do not hurt. Which I am very happy about.
I have goggles. I don't use them because I use good monitors. But before, when I had a CRT monitor, they helped me. But I felt it during the flu. When it hurts to look and the muscles hurt, you put on glasses and your eyes do not get tired.
Glasses are not needed. We need eye exercises once an hour (5 minutes, look here in Habré) and good lighting of the workplace.
Don't kick it, just as an option: I know some people who use these while working at the computer:
They say it improves focus and reduces eye strain.
