So, if after passing the test on Odeska I see that I took some place out of over 9000 users, then it’s just me who took this place, or are there other people who took this place? How does it work and why?

Um, you passed the "Odesk readness test". This, as it were, means that you just got acquainted with the rules of the exchange and are ready to work on it.
