After pressing F2, the computer should enter the BIOS settings. If it is not included, it can be assumed that the BIOS firmware is not in order. But I had a similar case, the desktop hung on the BIOS splash screen. The POST check of the motherboard passed, there was a short squeak. The processor turned out to be to blame, I don’t know what failed there, but after replacing the processor, the computer worked without any complaints.
