Video on an optional portrait monitor

Goodnight! I want, after all, to find a solution to a long-standing problem:
When playing a video in vlc, if I drag it to an additional monitor that is turned on in portrait orientation, the proportions of the picture change unnaturally. Moreover, when dragging or resizing the player window, the picture before I release the mouse returns to its normal form.



Has anyone experienced this?
