They position themselves as "The CMS for developers."
What other CMS of this type exist?

The best sharpened cms is cms written by yourself! =)
In general, you need to proceed from the problem being solved, knowledge, the popularity of the system (because you will most likely have to google), your own prejudices.

The main question is, what tasks should CMS solve? What is it for?
Stable and universal, self-written CMS, I think does not even exist.
As a variant of Drupal, a fairly large community supports this CMS.
