Good afternoon! laptop asus x551m, my wife accidentally poked a headphone jack either into the usb or hdmi input, after that the laptop does not turn on, what are the assumptions about the scale of the disaster? The laptop is still under warranty, but they take doubts whether this is recognized as a warranty case.

I did the same for myself on the ASUS x51l laptop (I didn’t hit it in the dark, I poked it into USB) it
helped to remove the battery for 10 minutes
