I will describe the situation. For the last 12 years I have been engaged in video processing and related fields. I specialize in the development of video graphics for performances and events. There is a lot of experience in this area. I live in a small town (300k), and almost everything interesting that has been here in this direction over the past 12 years has been done one way or another with my participation. In recent years I have been working with a partner, he is engaged in sound at a very high level. Equipment was purchased for work (shooting in 4k from three cameras, etc.).
Recently, our city has become "crowded". In Moscow does not pull. We are thinking about emigration, but the question arose with work. It’s easier for a programmer to find orders (I worked remotely as a web developer for a year), but is there any remote video work? Of course, you can shoot weddings, but it’s not easy to find clients in a new place either ... We also thought about shooting footage for sale, since the technology allows. But there, apparently, in order to reach a normal income, you need to spend several years. We don't expect something supernatural, but at least $1000/month for everyone...
In general, I'll be grateful for any thoughts/suggestions.
If you have any ideas where exactly to go - I will also be grateful. My dream is Australia/New Zealand, but it's difficult for many reasons. So for now we are looking at Europe, for example, at Spain.
