Good afternoon.
Please tell me how to understand the limitation - The maximum vCPUs per virtual machine is eight.

For example, the server has two processors, 10 CPUs each.
10 CPUs in total.
And 40 Vcpu.

It turns out that 8 vcpu can be allocated for 1 virtual machine?
And how many cpu can be allocated?

Or am I confusing hyper threading and vcpu?

vCPU is the number of virtual processors. For example, 2 sockets with 4 cores are exactly the same 8vCPUs, as well as 4 sockets with 2 cores.
