Viber as office messenger?

Once again, the authorities, having gone on a business trip, came up with an idea: to replace messengers from Jaber to Viber on office computers, for remote coordination of office work. Underwater rocks? Who thinks what?

And why are there pitfalls? Messenger like messenger. Jabber has an advantage in that you can have your own server and not depend on a third-party service that can fall at the most inopportune moment or fall out of favor with politicians. It depends on what goals the authorities are pursuing, whether they need calls or just a text is enough. In general, I would switch to telegram and find out about the status / availability of orders, the presence of employees in the office, and much more with the help of a bot and distract employees only if they need personal communication) But I would definitely leave Jabber as a backup option.
