Is it possible to receive a call on Viber on a tablet, from a simple phone?

The situation is as follows:
Viber is installed on the tablet, which is tied to my SIM card, which is physically installed in the Nokia phone (the usual one).
A friend called me today from a simple (not a smartphone) Samsung mobile device, as usual, to my mobile number, and logically, an incoming call should have been displayed on my Nokia.
But then I just dropped out.
The call was received on the Viber side on my tablet.
That is, a phone with a regular PBX made a call via the Internet and got to me on Viber on a tablet.
As I understand it, this is a very serious glitch in the work of Viber, and I think this thing happened to me alone.
I myself am a person versed in the IT field, so I know how viber (voip) works.
Who will say what?
Has anyone else come across this as well?
Because for me, this is something on the verge of unreal-fiction.
Thank you all in advance.

The feature is called Viber-In. You can turn it off in Viber settings.
