Updating software on client machines remotely?
Salute, colleagues!
There are a bunch of ordinary working windows-machines, in different places: at home, at work, with friends, with colleagues and even in other countries. Laptops too. A zoo from Windows XP to Windows 10.
Is there a program that is installed on all these systems and updates the installed software? The question is not in Windows Update, but in application software.
For example, to download a 7zip update, you need to explain a large tutorial to a person on the phone: open google, type 7zip, open the "download" section, click on the desired link, save, run with admin rights, click next-next, remove the left checkboxes like "put free Mcafee" and so on.
I already want to write my own tool in the task bar: once a week it will get on my server and look for updates, just like yum in centos: a simple repository on http, broken down by platforms and OS versions: windows7/x64/7zip.exe, and to the client to show only: "such and such program is updated, everything is all right".
Wishlist: updating from your own server (cdn is cool, but there are not so many clients), uploading software for updating either for everyone or selectively (testing on your own machines), silent installation, installation / error reports.
The goal is the same - so that the client's head does not hurt. Sometimes they install a Flash update, and the computer dies from Mcafee in conjunction with KIS. And you don’t have to talk about Yandex.Elements and Mailru Agent, everyone knows)))

It is not at all clear to explain over the phone why such difficulties. It’s easier to remotely do everything yourself through Teamviewer, by phone ask only for the password.
For automatic updates, you can think about Dropbox (or Sinth), into which to drop exe files, which will then be installed by a script in clients in silent mode.
0_O advised ..
chocolatey.org then
dictate the "magic words"
If there are no packages of the software that you need in the general repository, make your own package, upload it to the repository.
For greater security and / or software can not be uploaded to the general repository on the chocolatier - you can make your own, available to your friends / colleagues, etc.
it is also possible, if you correctly configure ps remoting, to do everything yourself, receiving messages from the chocolate bar about the success or failure of the installation / upgrade of the package.
