Updating Skype in a domain not by admins?
Good afternoon to everyone, in connection with the innovations of everyone's favorite small software to impose software, a task has appeared.
Fleet of machines 59 all on win10 and in the domain, domain controller 2012 R2, with a policy of prohibiting the installation of programs by mere mortals.
The question actually is that Skype is installed on the clients’ machines with a checkmark for updating the update (It is not possible to uncheck the box because melkosoft close the use of old versions and force Skype to be updated otherwise it will not start
) update it still asks for elevation of rights to update? Also, Skype of the new version that they are now selling is being updated and installed from the store. I tried to give mere mortals the rights to the folder in which Skype is installed, all to no avail.
I ask you to write your ideas and suggestions. We can’t refuse Skype, because it communicates within the organization. Skype desktop version is not business.

For myself, I found a solution like this .. I distributed the shortcut to the web version of https://web.skype.com/ru/ for users by policy .
Removed the desktop version.
Microsoft's answer is such that it's useless to use Skype for home in an organization, switch to Skype for business and there will be no problems with the update
Organize remote control of all 59 machines, Radmin can help with this. It works on the principle of a local warrior. That is, you install Radmin Server on all 59 machines (it weighs very little, literally up to 10 megabytes), install Radmin Viewer on your computer (your personal). And you can do anything with those 59 computers. You will see the desktop of the user machine (which one you choose from these 59) where you can install any software on those computers from your computer.
