The surge protector was knocked out during the stress test, why?

Hello. I ran the system under the Aida64 stress test to make sure that the new cooling system copes. In short, pc: 8700k, 1080, bp corsair tx 650 Gold +. After 5 minutes, the computer went out, when I tried to turn it on again, it turned on and immediately passed out. Didn't turn on anymore. At first I thought the PSU had died, but it turned out that the surge protector had simply been knocked out, the fuse was returned back and the system was working normally. Previously, I also did stress tests and for an hour, everything was fine. What was it?

Because of the load, of course. There is a plug in the filter, which is knocked out when the permissible power is exceeded, which your computer began to take.

Most network filters have a rating of 10A. No computer will eat that much. Even if your 650W PSU runs at its limit (and this is unlikely), then 4 such computers are needed to overload the surge protector. So look:
1. either you have something powerful included in this filter besides your computer;
2. either the filter itself dies, this is not uncommon; these fuses are a weak point, they degrade over time (several years) and start to work from every sneeze. If it repeats, buy a new surge protector. Or you can buy a new 10A fuse and solder it if you know how to handle a soldering iron.

Just "overload", stress tests are best done directly from the outlet, and then it's better not to :)
