The laptop beeps after installing an additional hard drive. What to do?

Installed an additional SATA hybrid hard drive in the laptop. Its power is 3.5 watts.
After installation, the laptop periodically beeps (from 1 to 3 times a day), sometimes it just turns off or freezes tightly.
Windows does not give an error, smart does not give an error either.

Hard drive support reported that this may be due to lack of power. Is it critical for a laptop these 3.5 W?

The disk itself is serviceable and worked as expected on the previous laptop. Yes, and for comparison, an NVMe SSD is installed on the laptop, which has a power consumption of 0.1 watts.

Yes. In laptops, the power system is often calculated right next to the installed hardware.
