Split PC in half. What do you think of the docking station + laptop?

We are working here with my friends on one idea and wanted to know the opinion of the hackers about it, I hope it will not be difficult for you to help us and answer a couple of questions.
Briefly about the idea: we are working on a laptop and a docking station (a full-fledged stationary / office computer) of average performance and with an average price tag, each.
Both devices have technology that allows you to combine both computers and use the processing power of both at the same time.
1) What do you think of this idea?
2) Would you fund this project on Kickstarter?
3) Will this solution be in demand?
4) Would you tell your friends, relatives, acquaintances about this idea?

You come in carrying that side. No one needs the "computing" power of a laptop. The processor is more than enough. The problem is with the video card. It is her performance that is lacking for all laptop owners.
There are already such solutions with the connection of a separate video card, and this is a) expensive b) almost no one needs it.
In general, this whole idea with docking stations in one form or another was with many manufacturers and it did not take off.

If a stationary computer is 2-3 times more powerful than a laptop, no one needs the computing power of a laptop in the office.
What is your docking station, what is it stupid to poke the system disk from the laptop to the stationary and back - is that the essence of the project? You just need to make sure that both computers are identified by the system in the same way to activate programs.

Как уже отмечали выше, совмещение вычислительных мощностей в офисе никому не нужно. В офисе главное что? Правильно, текст в ворде набирать и таблички в экселе считать. А с этим успешно справляются имеющиеся ноутбучные процессоры.
Кроме того, подобная технология это потенциальная точка отказа. В современной технике их и так достаточно, незачем вводить новую.
Однако, если ценник будет действительно средний, то почему бы и не реализовать идею, но только с простой док.станцией? Уверен, что на это спрос будет.
Ну и отвечая на остальные два вопроса. Лично я проекты ни на кикстартере ни где-либо еще не спонсирую по своим собственным соображениям. Друзьям рекомендовал бы только как "рабочий" компьютер.

Вариант, который я бы сразу купил и друзьям посоветовал это докстанция под смартфон, делающая его подобием компа (Удобно ведь подключить телефон к докстанции к которой уже подключены монитор, питание, клава, мышь, сеть, колонки и тд., переведя его в режим системного блока.)
