Striped volume of two raid0 or spanned?

HDD: 2x1Tb and 2x500Gb.
It is not possible to merge into one raid0 due to the peculiarities of the controller (capacity drops)
Does it make sense to make two raid 0 hardware, and then combine them in windows in some way?
This design requires maximum performance.
thanks for answers

Need maximum performance
So you need to get an SSD.

The maximum possible capacity of a zero raid of 4 HDDs of the specified capacity will be equal to 2TB in any case, regardless of implementation.

merge them in windows in some way
Don't forget that in a software RAID0 managed by the OS, you won't be able to use the partition on which the OS itself is installed, so if the task is to speed up the OS, then only a hardware array will help.
Otherwise, you can try to combine hardware 2 large disks, create a 500GB partition on them and, without touching it, install the OS on the remaining space. Then programmatically combine the first partition of this disk with two other disks - and get one and a half fast terabytes. In this case, Windows will physically be in a faster area of the disk than if 500 GB were cut off from the disk.
I used the software RAID0 for a couple of weeks, then it got boring, it's better to put an SSD ... some CrystalDiskMark after setting up the array.

if you need performance, it was easier to take one ssd
