SSD shows up as HDD in Defraggler. How to fix?

For some reason, the Samsung Evo 870 SSD appears as a hard drive in Defraggler. Connected via SATA in a laptop. Because of this, I can not "optimize" it in the program. As far as I know, it is undesirable to defragment an SSD, but in Windows for hard drives (which my SSD is considered to be) a task is set for automatic defragmentation (I can’t turn it off because the defragger does not allow you to get into the corresponding menu, integrating into the system). In short, what could be the reason for this and how can it be fixed?61635c0324ef5411152514.png

SSD shows up as HDD in Defragger

Windows determines the drive type based on test results. Accordingly, WinSAT.exe , aka Windows System Assessment Tool, will help you.
First, check if you have any utilities that are either on the fly or constantly "optimize" something. If they are, disable or remove them.
The syntax of WinSAT is described succinctly enough that it may take several tries. Run cmdas administrator and start with the command winsat disk -drive d. If after it the situation does not change, run in the same way winsat diskformal. If that doesn't help, do a complete reevaluation:winsat formal
Also, just in case, it would be good to make sure that you do not have caching tricks from the laptop manufacturer, like installing a small 32 GB SSD, and also that the BIOS settings are set correctly.
If in doubt about the Windows score, you can do an SSD speed test yourself, for example, in R. tester .
If even after that Defraggler detects the disk incorrectly, then most likely it needs to be demolished - this, apparently, is a program bug that should be fixed by developers.
the task for automatic defragmentation is set (I can’t turn it off because the defragger does not allow you to get into the corresponding menu, integrating into the system)

In "Optimize Drives" there is a "Scheduled optimization" section, Frequency is indicated there and there is a "Change settings" button. How it is with you - I can’t guess, because. I don't have a defragler installed.
