[Solved] UAC issue (Win7 x64), "run as administrator" stopped working
Until recently, everything was fine, UAC worked as expected. And tonight I discovered that RMB on the shortcut and “Run as Administrator” does not work - we poke at the item, and silence in response. The “Management” item from the “My Computer” context menu also stopped working - MMC does not even try to start.
If you try to do such manipulations from under an unprivileged user, then a dialog asking for the admin password appears, but after entering the same thing happens, i.e. nothing happens and nothing starts.
Previously, the same problem surfaced on the last car, but I did not look for the reasons because I just “moved” to a new one. Both here and there are OEM Windows 7 Home Premium, only on the old x86, and on the new x64. The installers are licensed and original, the axes came pre-installed with the laptops.
Management can be launched through the Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Computer Management, and the software can be run as an administrator by changing the properties of the shortcut (Compatibility / Rights level / Run this program as administrator). only methods related to the context menu of shortcuts do not work. And when you run the installers, the rights are elevaytsya as it should. Before the appearance of glitches, nothing new was installed in the system, updates were not rolled, we can say that the glitch occurs spontaneously and is not associated with obvious changes in settings or installed software.
Nothing suspicious is found in the processes, antiviruses are silent and Office 97 is not installed;)
Gentlemen, who faced this? how was it treated? successfully?
I really don’t want to rearrange or raise the last working images.
Thanks in advance.

try to rollback to the day before the first manifestation of this problem
May have a reset/blank Administrator password. Try to set any (like: Win+R, control userpasswords2)
There is a solution and a description of the reasons ! In a nutshell - the winrar version of CompareIt! and incorrect work of context menu handlers.
