Greetings dear habrasobshchestvo!

Our beloved client has set a combat mission for us: the client has land in different parts of the city and with different purposes. The client is looking for investors in this land. We need to make a map of the city with a division into administrative regions and the ability to click to enlarge the region, show territories in this region and, on the next click, display detailed information from the land database.

So, we are looking for a solution that would be like in a movie about special agents, where there is a big map, it increases, increases, etc. We want a solution that would amaze the imagination with animation and special effects.

We are now analyzing thefwa.com and www.awwwards.com.There's a ton of good design and material, but there's almost nothing on how to work with maps. Maybe someone met a successful implementation?

From technologies - I would like not to use flash. JavaScript would be great!
