Should we consider antennas other than the "wave channel" / Yagi-Uda in conditions of poor visibility?
Digital TV broadcasting, dvb-t2.
Distance to transmitter <5km, azimuth known, multiplex_channels/frequencies known, wide bands not needed. No line of sight, hill and high-rise. In direct line of sight, in a neighboring house, it catches on a bare wire, I have "no signal".
I'll try to do it myself, calculate, cut and solder the frequencies, the adjacent channels are 26/27 (the average frequency is 520 MHz, respectively), you don't need a wide-range one.
A beginner, I have not encountered the construction of antennas, my arms are straight, there is no special tuning equipment.
Is it worth wasting time on exotic frameworks like the triple square (Sitnikov), Turkin rings, Hoverman zigzags? Or do not waste time, money and effort and set up a "wave channel" / Yagi-Uda? In the latter case, what exactly is the setup and what special equipment is needed?

"Zigzag" (Kharchenko), see on publ.lib.ru the collection "To Help the Radio Amateur" no. 94. Kilometers 40 from Ostankino takes everything even without a reflector.
You can try to twist the antenna in search of another repeater or reflected signal.
What are you fishing for? (receiver)
Try another receiver, borrow it for testing and compare.
I have a regular loop with a 40dB amplifier (can't have more). T2 catches anywhere in the room
