Should I take macbook pro 2020 to m1 for web development?

Should I take a macbook pro on new m1 processors with 8GB of memory? It seems that RAM has a much higher bandwidth, but is there enough volume to run, say, a project on Docker and IDE with chrome?

No. If you look at the reviews of English-speaking bloggers, everyone says that some programs have problems when they start. Nothing has been optimized for the new processor yet. You can take this laptop as a toy, but by no means for work. And knowing how "stably" the docker works on poppies, so I have not yet transferred my worker to big sur. So for another 2-3 years this laptop will not be designed to work.
