Salary expectations junior frontend?
Greetings everyone, I'm waiting for an interview in a more or less large company, for the position of junior frontend (probably even - )
Requirements: Main requirement: Basic knowledge of React & Redux, good native js
Before the meeting, they sent me a questionnaire, and there is a question "expected salary level ".
I thought that there is nothing complicated, I go to hh, look at similar vacancies, take something in between, closer to my own Wishlist.
But I find that with + - the same (close) requirements, where the emphasis is mainly on react & redux fork zp 40-100k.
In this regard, I am afraid to overestimate the expected salary and miss the opportunity (now money is less important to me than the knowledge and experience that I will get working in this company), but I have a family, obligations, etc., therefore I cannot sell much .
I used to work as a php macaque (in the literal sense, I freelanced at a web studio), I got 50k.
What to do, how to adequately indicate the expected level of salary, so as not to underestimate or overestimate?
I can answer the question orally at the meeting without any problems, explain that I am ready to work for food, but that there is enough food for my family, but this item in the questionnaire is mandatory and I would even say the main one

do not think that if you name the lowest salary among competitors, then you will be hired. Especially for June. if you name 100 dollars, then you are not sure at all (in your knowledge), if you say 2500 - well, greyhound, what does he know?
> I'm afraid to overestimate the expected salary
It's not scary. If the expectations are too high, then, usually, the employer will tell you about it.
You can additionally insure yourself and say that you are ready for discussions or indicate the minimum threshold below which you yourself will refuse (some employers themselves ask the desired and the minimum and try to give what they want).
> got 50k.
Well, less than that and there is no point in asking.
Look at the salaries in your region, if the company has other open vacancies, whether it be a backender or a designer but already with the specified salary, then you are guided by these numbers.
Since you have work experience, then start from these numbers. I would never go for a reduction in salary just like that, under equal conditions, would not go.
well, if neither here nor there, then ask how much you really need per month to live normally, and then change jobs in a year and you will ask for more
When you find a new job, you need to specify more salaries. And there is also such a moment if you indicated 80 you were offered 70 and you are ready for 60 then you won, and if you indicated 70 and you were offered 60 then it’s okay, but if you indicated 60 and offered 50 you lost. I think the essence is clear, but in general it’s more good to go through social security and testing and everything will be good. Sobes himself will show everything
